Obtain a literary realize what we dreamed of Chileans under the Bicentennial, is the objective set to launch the Bicentennial Commission Competition Poetry and Short Story. can participate all Chileans older than 18 years living at home or abroad and foreigners over 18 years living in Chile. Each author / person can submit up to a story and / or a poem, which respects the requirements specified in the regulation. That is, each author may send only one entry per category.
Stories / poems, written in Castilian, must fit into the "How you imagine the Chile of the future." The nomination period is until September 4, 2009.
EVALUATION PROCESS
The selection and evaluation of the stories / poems will be performed by a jury of Chilean writers and members of the Advisory Committee of the Bicentennial Commission, which will select a first and second place and honorable mention for each of the following categories:
- Category
- Story, 18 to 32 years
- Category Tale, people of 33 years and older
- Category Poetry, people from 18 to 32 years
- Category Poetry, people of 33 years and older
The works better evaluated in each category will receive a prize of $ 1,000,000, the first place, and $ 500,000, second place.
